Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Zelinx Flashcards ("Zelinx", "the service", "we", "us"), available at zelinxstudy.com and flashcards.zelinxstudy.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Zelinx (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher). If you're under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian is OK with you using the service and has reviewed our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password safe. Don't share it.
• One person, one account. Don't create accounts for other people without their permission.
• You're responsible for all activity on your account.
• If you think someone else has accessed your account, change your password immediately using the "Forgot password?" link.

3. Your content

You own the flashcards, decks, images, and other content you create or upload to Zelinx ("Your Content"). By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and display Your Content solely so we can provide the service to you (e.g. syncing decks between your devices). We don't claim ownership and we don't use Your Content for anything else.

You're responsible for Your Content. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to use, anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

• Use Zelinx for anything illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive.
• Try to break, disrupt, or overload the service (including automated scraping, denial-of-service, or attempts to access other users' accounts).
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the service to make a competing product.
• Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes intellectual property.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate someone else.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

5. The service is provided "as is"

We do our best to keep Zelinx working reliably, but we don't promise it will be perfect, error-free, or available 100% of the time. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

This is a study tool. It is not a substitute for proper instruction, official curriculum materials, or examiner mark schemes. Always double-check answers against trusted sources before relying on them in an exam.

6. Free and paid plans

Zelinx currently offers a free plan. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, the terms and pricing of those plans will be made clear before you subscribe, and you can cancel at any time. We won't take features that were free at signup and put them behind a paywall without warning you first.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes your user record, saved decks, progress, and sessions.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these Terms or if your account creates a security or legal risk to the service.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Zelinx after a change means you accept the new Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales unless your local law gives you the right to bring them in your own jurisdiction.
